McKinnon Pool Sessions

Schedule

Spring sessions at officially over. We hope to recommence pool sessions in the fall of 2022.

Parking

Normally it's paid Monday through Saturday, but Sundays are free! Aim for this lot and this side of the building:

Entrance

There are two blue doors on the North end of the pool, at least one of which will be propped open. If you're early, someone may not have walked around the front entrance in order to open the doors yet. The "left" entrance has a walkway and so you can get your boat in the pool without tracking mud into it.

Pool Manners

• If you are bringing your own boat, please rinse the sand, cobwebs, and spiders out before you arrive. There are usually blocks for propping open the doors somewhere in the pool, but please be quick about moving boats in as McKinnon is kept cool and we don't want to make it even colder.
• Take off your shoes immediately upon entering the pool. The Northeast entrance (left in the photo) has a walkway so it's a bit cleaner.
• Access to the showers and change rooms is provided. There are lockers if you bring your own lock, but typically we leave bags on the deck or in the bleachers.
